#110 Galvanic technology of putting polymer coating. |
Description Offered technology allows to put polymer coating on the rubbing parts where it is necessary to increase the durability of friction assemblies due to the providing of lubricating properties by means of creating oleophilic reaction layer of polymer coating with an oil or grease. Technology of the polymer coating putting on deals with the galvanic precipitation on any parts whose basis is iron. The coating application process is controlled by the voltage. An ecologically pure aqueous emulsion solution consisting of a several co-polymers. Therewith the said aqueous solution contains only 0,4-0,9 weight percent of emulsion (from co-polymers) in water and the small amount of inhibitor so as to prevent the corrosion of covered parts. The coating putting on process provides the chemical bond between the polymer applied and the surface layer of part that increases the adhesion of the coating and the part, and lowers significantly the process energy consumption. Benefits The high process productivity (a polymer precipitation rate makes 0,5 mm per 10 seconds).The possibility of the coating application on parts of any dimensions. The absence in the emulsion solution of organic solvents (the solution is aqueous).The low energy consumption of process (the 1mm thickness polymer coating precipitation on a surface of 1 sq.dm requires (4-6)x10sup.-6 kW/h). Project development Offered technology was used in industry. Bearings with the polymer coating have been successfully tested on the lifetime and are working on the several of Russian power stations. The polymer coating under consideration ensures the next advantages :-a possibility of replacing scarce and expensive lubricating materials therewith keeping friction assemblies (e.g. bearings); -increasing a load-carrying capacity of bearings twice as much and even more due to the augmentation of bearing working surface supporting capacity; -lowering noise when friction assembly operating; -increasing lubricating material lifetime during the friction assembly operating. There are roller bearings, ball-thrust bearings and other parts. This technology can be used in equipment of thermal electric power plant, machine tool manufacture, turbine manufacture, pump manufacture and other.
