Salut Technologies West (STW) was registered in the state of California on December 1994. Its Moscow office was registered in Russia in October of 1995. The original intent of the company was to use the expertise of our Moscow staff to gather new Russian technologies, evaluate their ownership and patent status, and submit them to our technical consultants in San Francisco for marketing. We have thus far examined over one hundred technologies.

In the process of looking for technologies to market in the United States, we have acquired vast knowledge of what it takes to complete the technology transfer process. We have experienced many of the difficulties involved in dealing with Russian institutes and bureaucracies. We have learned what it takes to ascertain the legal owners of technologies. We understand the importance of identifying and negotiating with the legal owners of the technologies.

STW'S Moscow staff is comprised of technically trained individuals, each of whom has at least 10 years experience working in Russian Patent Office.

The staff of STW is highly skilled in acquiring technical information and in performing patent searches, as well as in analyzing this information to determine patent and ownership status based on the Russian intellectual property legislation.
