Device and software for non destructive testing metal parts and assemblies.

Description

Offered device is unique and based on registering potential difference between electrode of pickup and surface of metal to be tested. It is known that electrons emit from the surface of metal and create low temperature plasma above said surface. Defects on metal surface impact on electron emission. Due to this fact it is possible to define defects and stress level on the surface of metal parts. Air into space between pickup electrode and tested metal is ionized to measure potential difference. Signal from pickup is processed in computer and operator can see on the screen of display visualized color picture of stress zones disposition. There are 10 color zones, the most dangerous is red zone. Operator can also define quantitative values of stresses in three dimensions. Device is supplied with special software and the data base. It is portable and easy in use.
