#139 Method and device for cooling by ionized air . |
Description Said method and device are intended for substituting of ecological harmful lubricant-coolant method,which usually is used at metal working industry, and also for increasing productivity of the equipment, decreasing of the expenditures for exploitation and repair. The peculiarity of the cooling by ionized air consists in the original construction of the device for feeding ionized air to the processing zone. The device can be adopted to any metal-cutting equipment without its modernization. It works according to the principle of redistribution of compressed air energy between two air streams. Said streams are created in in vortex tube, also known as Ranque or Hilsh tube, due to air expansion. Peripheral stream (which is in contact with the inner surface of tube) is hot and core stream is cold. Then cold stream is ionized. Benefits
